We work to support elderly people and we see the wickedness of dementia first-hand. Which is why we are committed to battling the disease with diet, exercise, the best information we can find and by volunteering our time.

You too can be part of the solution to help find the cure, by supporting the Alzheimer’s Association in their efforts to stamp out this terrible disease. Why not join us March 23rd at the Marriott downtown? Call today for your tickets! 801-363-1521.

According to azl.org, dementia is not a specific disease. It’s an overall term that describes a wide range of symptoms associated with a decline in memory or other thinking skills severe enough to reduce a person’s ability to perform everyday activities.

Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia, accounting for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia, which occurs after a stroke, is the second most common dementia type. But there are many other conditions that can cause symptoms of dementia, including some that are reversible, such as thyroid problems and vitamin deficiencies.

Perhaps you know of someone with early signs of dementia? Give us a call and we can meet and perform a basic wellness check. If further assistance is needed–from a little extra help around the home, all the way to live in care–Danville can help.

And remember, we can have a fun time together at the big gala while working toward a cure. All funds raised go directly to Alzheimer’s Association. Call today for your tickets! 801-363-1521.
